Overview

The group's oil and gas discovery and production company has been active since the 1930's with reserves and prospects focused on the southern United States and offshore into the Gulf of Mexico.

The company is typically a minority, non-operating equity partner taking an average of 10% interest with select independent oil and gas companies. It is able to offer products and services to the operator as preferred supplier.

It currently has a share in over 70 oil and natural gas producing projects and has prospects including deep sea and non traditional coal-bed methane plays.

Reserves at the end of 2006 stood at 2.3 million net equivalent barrels, measured on a SEC basis with a completed drilling program marked by 15 successes out of 18 attempts.
